How to Busk

with Saibh Skelly

Saibh started busking on Grafton Street aged 15. At 16, she did her Leaving Cert during Covid-19. “I had seen other buskers and I thought, if they can do it, so can I. Busking gave me so much confidence. I had the mindset that not everyone was going to stop to listen to me. But I didn’t care because I was singing my songs.” This helped her later when she was in the 3Olympia supporting Lyra. She already had her own channels on YouTube and Instagram, then record company Rubyworks made contact.

Saibh has amassed 61k subscribers on Youtube, 78k followers on Instagram, over 333k likes on TikTok, and over 1.25million plays on Spotify with her song ‘When You Love Someone’.

Saibh's music career has skyrocketed, with her headlining the 2024 Sea Sessions Surf & Music Festival.
